Agra & The Taj Mahal

Agra is a city where history, devotion, and daily life converge against the backdrop of one of the world’s greatest monuments — the Taj Mahal. Beyond its marble perfection, Agra reveals stories of resilience and rhythm: children playing cricket on dusty fields with the Taj rising behind them, locals gathering in quiet conversation, and pilgrims moving through ancient gateways in reflection.

Through these images, I wanted to capture both the grandeur of the Taj Mahal and the humanity that surrounds it — lives unfolding in its shadow, everyday moments made timeless by proximity to an eternal symbol of love and India’s cultural heart.
