Melbourne: Monochrome Moments, Colour in Between

Melbourne has always felt like a city of layers—its laneways, markets, and tramlines alive with stories waiting to be seen. Street photography here is less about chasing spectacle and more about finding rhythm in the everyday: a fleeting glance, the geometry of light on old brick, the pause of a stranger at a crossing.

Black and white strips the city down to its bones, revealing grit, texture, and timelessness. Yet colour slips in too—graffiti walls, market stalls, neon reflections after rain—reminders that Melbourne is both understated and bold.

This portfolio is my city, captured in fragments. A conversation between people and place, where moments of quiet humanity meet the restless pulse of Melbourne streets.
